There are decades of life in front of us and they should be fantastic. We deserve it.
What is Thrive Over Forty about?
Reaching forty years old is a milestone. At this stage, we start to notice a few changes. Getting and staying fit is more challenging. We want to lose or keep weight off, stay physically strong, protect our brains to stay mentally sharp, and be able to deal with the pressures of life.
Everybody deserves to look good, feel healthy and live well.
How can we help?
There is a TON of information on health and wellness floating around the internet or in magazines.
Some of it is good, but a lot of it is not.
Much of it seems better suited to someone in their twenties. People with fewer responsibilities and more time. Super long workouts, crazy strict diets – sound familiar?
Thrive Over Forty will pull together information from around the web that is relevant to our audience of people 40+ years, such as;
- Food – not “diets”, since those never work long term
- Fitness – strength, flexibility, cardiovascular
- Mental health – just as important as a strong body, maybe more so.
- New research – science is always revealing new insights that can help us.
- Motivation – to keep going even when life gets hard.
We’ll focus on what works based on real results, and look at what the latest science is showing us.
